Arthur G. Bunderle,92, formerly of Jackson,Mn and Roswell, NM, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Grapevine, Tx. Art was born at Jackson on March 14,1923 to the late William F. and Frances Drahota Bunderle. Art was a veteran of the United States Coastguard during WWII. An avid athlete he played football and boxed for the Coast Guard and later for the University of Utah, garnering him the nickname "The Bohemian Butcher." He lived and worked many years in Jackson before moving with his family to Roswell, NM where he was a school...

Arthur G. Bunderle,92, formerly of Jackson,Mn and Roswell, NM, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Grapevine, Tx. Art was born at Jackson on March 14,1923 to the late William F. and Frances Drahota Bunderle. Art was a veteran of the United States Coastguard during WWII. An avid athlete he played football and boxed for the Coast Guard and later for the University of Utah, garnering him the nickname "The Bohemian Butcher." He lived and worked many years in Jackson before moving with his family to Roswell, NM where he was a school teacher for 24 years in Dexter, NM. Because of his great love of traveling, Art used his summer vacations to travel the world, citing New Zealand as one of his favorite vacation areas. Art was of the Presbyterian faith.



Art is survived by his daughter Jan Boyd of Euless, Tx.; son, Brad Bunderle and wife Jennifer of Cotacachi, Ecuador; step-daughter Fran Bunderle of Euless, TX; four grandchildren: Evan Bunderle, Heather Bunderle, Brandon Boyd, Clayton Boyd; four great grandchildren; sisters Ellen Kalvig and Bernice Wilson both of Seattle, WA and numerous other family members and friends.
