David was born in Moline, Illinois on November 18, 1980 and passed away on June 3, 2017 at the age of 36. He graduated from Colleyville/Heritage High School in 1999. David was an active boy, he loved basketball (big Bulls and UNC fan), fishing, canoeing and wood working (making doll and house hold furniture), he also loved video games. He worked in the food industry for several years as server, bar tender, and cook. Then he went to work for a roof repair/construction company and got a promotion to Crew Foreman. In 2016 he went...

David was born in Moline, Illinois on November 18, 1980 and passed away on June 3, 2017 at the age of 36. He graduated from Colleyville/Heritage High School in 1999. David was an active boy, he loved basketball (big Bulls and UNC fan), fishing, canoeing and wood working (making doll and house hold furniture), he also loved video games. He worked in the food industry for several years as server, bar tender, and cook. Then he went to work for a roof repair/construction company and got a promotion to Crew Foreman. In 2016 he went to work for Lowes and was a part of their team until his death, he really enjoyed working for Lowes and was planning on making his career at Lowes.



He is survived by the love of his life his daughter, Layla Starr Williams, who he worshiped with all his heart. He is also survived by his parents Dwayne and Linda Williams of Longs, SC, Sister Erica and her husband W. David Dukes of Arlington, TX, along with his mother Sally Dukes of Grapevine, TX, Grandmother Mildred Williams of Theodosia, MO, niece Makkenzie, along several Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins. David will be very much missed by all. He also is survived by several lifelong friends such as Mark Hill, Mark Byrd, Juan, Albert, Michael Ditty, and John Williams (at the Mansfield Lowes Store) began a very close friend during the last part of David’s life.



There will be a very private viewing at Foust & Son Funeral Home 523 S. Main St., Grapevine, TX 76051 on Monday, June 12, 2017. He will be taken back to South Carolina with a Memorial Service will be held at the United Methodist Church, 9911 Hwy 90, Little River, SC, 29566. Memorials can be made to the United Methodist Church in the name of David A. Williams.
