David Joseph Meyer 64 passed away on November 26, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.



The Holy Rosary will be recited Friday evening at six o’clock on December 2, 2016 in the chapel of J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home 523 South Main Street Grapevine, Texas with visitation following until eight o’clock. A Mass for Christian Burial will be held Saturday afternoon at one o’clock at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 100 tinker Road in Colleyville, Texas.



David was born to Albert Arthur Meyer and Josephine Marie Hendel Meyer on Saturday, June 28, 1952...

David was born to Albert Arthur Meyer and Josephine Marie Hendel Meyer on Saturday, June 28, 1952 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He grew up in Florissant, Missouri. He received his degree in accounting from the University of Missouri Saint Louis and became a CPA. After moving to Grapevine, he became active in Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville, and volunteered for the Grapevine, Fire Department and the Grapevine Police Department. He was a supervisory auditor for the department of Defense, and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) for over 30 years.



He is survived by his wife Kathleen Marie Lydon Meyer who married on March 31, 1978; daughters Karen Elizabeth Kiefer and husband Andy, Ellen Kathleen Louder and husband Andrew; son Steven David Meyer; grandsons Drew, Ryan, and Luke and a granddaughter Nora; siblings James Meyer, Louise Sawyer and husband Mark, Theodore Meyer and wife Marilyn, Claire Hegger and husband Melvin, Janice Bruce and husband Duane, Glennon Meyer and wife Karen and Paul Meyer; in laws Judith Lydon, Mary Rohan, Nancy Lydon, James Lydon and wife Pamela, and Sally Wahlbrink.
